Hey Gary, if I realized you were going I would have tried to meet up with you. I'm sure I know the answer, but were there any vintage unopened?

I went today too..I did okay...got some supplies, some 2013 packs for my boys and I managed to pick up a 1951 Connie Mack Jimmy Collins.
  • I was supposed to go and was Barry's ride. I'm glad he made it and you did too Gary. Although I'm not that disappointed since raw high grade is what I seek. Bumping into Barry is worth the gas money though. I hung out with him last week at the Manhattan monthly classic and we volleyed some high grade 75s - Barry made out as always image

I bought a mini wax pack. He had three. Decided to rip it in the car and glad I did. It was a reseal, clear as day. light spot of glue that made the pack stick when trying to open it. Corner wear on inside cards, not dings, wear. Cards did not swap direction half way as many do. Gum card was actually wax stained on back. oh, and the gum was narrow and fresh...

Good news is the dealer refunded the pack when I went back in. Glad I didn't wait until I got home to open...

Didn't buy a single thing otherwise... feels like there is less and less each time I go to hofstra...-

last..and I'm sorry if this is in bad taste, but did anyone else notice the horrific smell around the Huggins and Scott exhibit? It was there each time I got near the booth. I had to walk away.
