During the week, the gold/silver/platnum etc markets closes at 5:15PM Eastern Time and opens in Asia at 6:00PM Eastern Time which is morning the next day in Asia. It's closed on weekends but will reopen Sunday evening at 5:15PM Eastern Time which is Monday morning in Asia.
