Are there any particular cards that a collector should sub no matter what? Cards before a certain date? Short print cards? A certain parallel? A particular auto?

    I read on here once any Mantle should be slabbed and I agree.

    Along with mantles, any Jordan rookie should be slabbed (IMO).

    I don't agree with the Mantle suggestion. In my experience Mantles that are EXMT or worse sell just as well raw as they do slabbed.

    I think any 1981 topps Joe Montana you think will grade 5 or better needs slabbed, of
    course the same can be said for a lot of higher dollar rookies. Any sport.

    Looks like the original owner of that card had some type of grudge.
    I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.
