Which one would you keep

I have a near complete signed 1954 Bowman set as well as some duplicates that I have accumulated. I am currently working on some other projects and will probably end up selling my doubles. Of each of the HOFers below which copy of the card would you keep?

The left Eddie, the left Bob and the right Duke
  • For all three the left side, less because of the blue sharpie and more because of centering.
    Nice cards!

As we say in the military "File from the left, column left, march". The left Duke only because of the card condition.

I really can't explain why I like the right Duke better, I just do.

I agree with Ralph. Left card on Duke is MUCH nicer, but I really like the neat old time auto on the right card!

Not yet Eric 4 cards away! I have been working on a 52 Topps signed set, don't have many but have a nice start.

Thanks for the opinions so far everyone, a little bit of a mixed bag I like the vintage signatures but the more modern signatures are in better shape.

Eric, true that Talmer does not have a lot of 52s, but man, you should see the ones that he DOES have! AMAZING start!

  • On the Mathews, I would keep the sober written auto versus the drunken written auto...but for the life of me I couldn't tell which is which.

If your game plan was to make a complete set of cards that were autographed I would collect the card with the strongest autograph first. Condition of the card would be a second option for you. I like all the cards on the left side. The only card that I struggled with was the Duke card. I love the condition of the left card but the autograph of the right side looks more appropriate for the period of the card. All six cards are awesome.
