1964 Panini Pele Valida variation

I was just scanning some cards that I haven't looked at in a while and noticed that this was the Valida variation. I got the card a few years ago when just started to get into oddball/foreign cards. At the time I thought this was pele's rookie and I certainly didn't know the difference between Valida and regular backs. The card isn't labeled as Valida by psa and there are not any examples in the pop report. Does anyone know if this is actually a rare card and I lucked out or do they all have this back

    I have no knowledge to be sure but in all my experience the Valida backs are more rare than the base version. I'm sure you can eventually find another one but you may want to hold on to it for now and get it reholdered at a later time if there are multiple versions of this card.

    Since I got a 58 card I was just planning on putting it in eBay but not sure if I should bother to get it correctly slabbed or not.

    1 of 4 cards had the valida back, but they were redeemable for prizes. So depending on how many were redeemed the ratio goes down. Seems like they normally sell for a premium, but the difference is on the order of 10-30% not 100-300%. I'd make sure to notate it in the listing and include a back scan, but I don't know that it needs to be reslabbed.

    The only reason I think it might be worth getting reslabbed is that there are none in the pop report... So it might be more apealing to the registry folks.

    Do you have any documentation on this? I ask because I've looked for quite a while but never been able to find any official Panini-issued odds.

    And Eagles, definitely get it noted on the flip. There is a premium.
