Anyone know of one? Also, does anyone know why the dating systems of Inonu and Ataturk gold pieces are calculated differently?

Ataturk westernised (modernised) Turkey, he changed the writing from writing right to left in an Arabic style to left to right using most letters found in the English alphabet (with a couple of extra). He also introduced the western time and (Gregorian Callander) date.

There are a number of stores in Istanbul's Grand Bazaar which sell
modern gold bullion coins.

With over 5,000 shops in the Grand Bazaar, at least one shop must have gold coins. (Actually quite a few do, especially on/near the Jeweller's row.) I'll be there in November and will have a look and report back. Wouldn't mind getting a birthyear Monnaie de Luxe bullion piece....
