Floyd Mayweather BGS 10 ends at $1494

Pop 1 for being pristine, cool card. I like the oddball, low pop cards of superstars. I'm sure the winner does too! image

Was this the 97 Browns? That's a great card but its not condition sensitive at all. I'm shocked to the premium that kind of premium
Scans of most of my Misc rookies can be found <a target=new class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://forums.collectors.com/m...y&keyword1=Non%20major">here

I am not a fan of Mayweather. Just waiting for him to fight someone and get that first loss which will happen unless he quits soon. It is easy to see him lose and keep fighting because of his ego and need of more money. Then he loses 4 of his last 5 bouts and is remembered as just another champion. See Roy Jones Jr who I think was better than Mayweather. Then this card will bring around $50 to $75 if you're lucky if this scenario unfolds.

Mayweather is such a prima dona who cares so much about that '0' in his record, cares so much about being undefeated, that he continually refuses to fight the best competition he can. That's why so many sports fans will never give him the utmost respect. But he doesn't care, as long as he has a constant orbit of sycophants telling him he's a god. It's lame because he'd probably even win those fights, but he is too scared of losing the 0 in his record.

He could fight everyone who's good and seek out the best comp, might finish with a loss or two but goes out with mad respect and as one of best or the best ever. Instead he plays prevent defense of that perfect "0" and makes it all about that one thing, and when he eventually gets that loss, his legend will fall off more than had he cultuvated the rep of a guy who went after every possible challenger.
