Two nice pieces arrived.
The first a very common type Archduke Ferdinand piece yet highly lustrous without the typical adjustment marks. The second is an early type, less common, mid-16th century Salzburg piece which has been professionally dipped yet has very strong details for the type.

The Hall is so sweet.
My D-8097 looks quite a bit different from yours, different enough that I'd consider it a different type. On the Obverse legend of yours, the AE in Austria are separate letters ... on mine, the AE are smaller and joined. Ferdinand's arm is completely different.
On the Reverse, your legend has a joined AE after GVNDI ... mine is just an E. The crown on mine has dots to the left and right of the + at the top.
Are these different types (or varieties) documented anywhere?

I particularly like the heraldry and well struck details of that Ferdinand piece.
