1980 Topps Phil Huffman # 142

Hey fellas, just wondered if anyone knew as to why there is absolutely no pricing on the 1980 Topps Phil Huffman # 142 available? Iv'e found nothing online or in the Beckett Almanac. Besides the mega-rare Billy Martin #424A variation, this is the only card in the set with pricing completely left blank. After looking online also, I still couldn't find anything. I recently picked up a Gem Mint 10 version of this card over at 4SC for relatively cheap, but I've just been wondering now for awhile as to why it's not priced. Maybe it's time I start expanding my horizons and switch price guides image Have only been back in the hobby for a little bit now and Beckett used to be my go-to guide but lately I've noticed a lot of little things like this that make me wonder if it's time to move on. I also have a free subscription of SMR that doesn't seem to be the most accurate either. As far as publications, is there anything out there that's more thorough? I'm looking for graded and ungraded prices separately. Thanks fellas. Like I've said I've just been noticing some mistakes in Beckett and thought that I should expand.

Last several VCP PSA 9 sales on ebay. Looks like you can get a mint card pretty cheap.

    9/29/12 $4.99
    3/7/11 $3.99
    3/3/10 $0.99
    8/1/09 $0.99
    5/9/09 $2.99
    2/25/08 $3.00
    1/6/08 $2.99

I know Phil personally! I see him about once a month where I work. He was drafted right out of highschool...piched a 1-hitter against the A's back in 78 or 79. He would say the card is priceless!! image

Hope you didn't buy this one at $24.99.....Huffman 10

4SC now has this one listed at $11.99.....Huffman 10

No, fortunately I bought the card for 11.99 but mine has different cert numbers them both of those. I have to say that the centering on the 24.99 one though is something that would bug me extremely for a common at that price. I just thought it was weird that a common card wasn't priced at all in the Beckett Almanac in that set. I wouldn't think it would be because of scarcity image .
