Viva La Mexico! Guess the grade!

Just won this peso off the bay, for what I think is a steal. Care to guess a grade?

Heads up on pricing- Krause is way more than optomistic on this date at $950 UNC/$1750 BU. Ponterio sold a PCGS MS62 last year for $300, which is more in line with real world sales on these.

Hard to say because of the way the photo is taken. This way of lighting can reduce appearance of hairlines. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

A PCGS MS62 just sold for $875 on the bay. Nice profit if it was the same coin. IMO this one will grade higher, & I live about a 1/2 mile from Mexico, which is a prime market for these amongst local collectors.

The coin will sell better in the States.

Hi pruebas, can you help my eye find the brush of wear you've spotted?

    Nice coin!

I think he said au58 because of what appears to be wear on the snake and the eagles knees.

From the images, it is a very difficult call. The edges of the wings look full- if there are field disturbances, all bets are off and it is an AU coin. The snake and tallons somtimes are just not well sruck up-

    Still a nice coin
