A Little Weekday 1978 OPC Baseball Rippin'

Evening,

Cleaned out Steve last week, picked up his last 17 packs of 1978 O-PEE-CHEE Baseball, my all time favorite for rippin!!!. They arrived today and are mostly going to meet their maker!!

Too bad you can't trust Steve's stuff to be unsearched imageimageimage Guess he must have missed that Pack with #105 Nolan Ryan showing on the Front, that one won't be getting ripped, along with two others I'm going to be hanging on to unopened...but the other 14...Let the ripping commence...I'll let everyone settle in while I get a little dinner...be back shortly!

    Congrats on the Ryan pack. If your looking to move it please pm me. I bought a box of this from Steve last year and it was a fun rip with very nice looking cards. Though I did not hit a Murray it was still fun!!

    Pack # 1...11 cards, Howell ruined by gum, Jorge Orta is the wax card, nothing exciting in the other 9, the Foli may make the trip to Newport!!

    Pack # 2...10 cards this one, nothing centered well enough to be graded. The Pete Rose # 100 is what I call a Half Dozen print, I've pulled so moany of these that I swear it has to be 6 per sheet!!!image

    Pack # 3....OK Now That's what I'm talking about !!!!

    The Leonard & Blue are going to PSA, might send the Schmidt...its diamond cut, but sharp corners, probably an 8!!

    You know the grading industry has pooped all over our dreams when someone opens a 35 year old pack with three HOFers in it and declares it as nothing.

    Mitchell Page was half of a mean platoon that won me a SIMs league.

    Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    Murray looks like a possible 8, and the Soderholm appears to be a good candidate for Gem Mint. Thanks for sharing the rip!
