Does this seem way too high?

1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 - Topps, Donruss, Fleer UNOPENED WAX BOXES
615 plus another 47 for shipping?
I guess I haven't really paid attention to 84 or 85 Fleer or Donruss, but I was watching this and was amazed it went for so much.
I would assume the hits are the 84, 85 cards, with some nostalgia value for the 86 Donruss and Topps. People are giving away 87 Topps and Donruss and no one wants them. Just seemed like a lot to overpay for those two other years.
Does the Mattingly rookie really send that 84 Donruss box to the 200 range? I can't think of any other cards that would send knock it up so much, but I don't know much about that set.

I was looking at that lot myself. I think $200 for 84 Donruss, $100 for 84 Fleer, $100 for 85 Topps, $100 for 85 Fleer, $80-90 for 85 Donruss, then $40 for 87 Fleer, $30 for 86 Topps and Donruss and the 2 87 Donruss, and $20 for 87 Topps. Total you have $665, if you agree with those numbers. Might seem a lot for an 80's load, but I think its about the current market value for each box. The buyer did not get a deal buying in quantity.
I think generally the 84 Donruss is harder to find, but also the revered set from that year.

Your prices seem a little off.
Current BBCE prices:
84 Donruss $230
84 Fleer $80
85 Topps $95
85 Fleer OOS (guessing around $80)
85 Donruss $70
87 Fleer $26
86 Donruss $30
87 Donruss $20 x2 $40
87 Topps $9
Someone basically paid for the BBCE authenticity and got a wildly risky group of boxes. I wouldn't have bid on those boxes at half the price they sold for.

I honestly think BBCE is cheaper than the eBay market on most stuff.
I agree that I would never have paid anywhere near that much for those particular boxes.
In the past six months I paid the following shipped prices:
85 topps $69
86 topps $11
And I've seen 87 topps boxes at nearby shows(frank and sons) for under $10.
