What is the most continuous games to start the season that a pitcher has won? I would think this would have to be by a relief pitcher.

    Without googling I remember Elroy Face had a string of 16 or 17.

    You are right Ralph. In 1959 he won his first 17 decisions and finished the year 18-1. He pitched less than 100 innings.

    OP ... not sure if that is the record.

    I was refering to the games to start the season. Like game 1,2,3 etc. Like maybe a relief pitcher won all 3. He is 3-0 and his team is 3-0.
