<< <i>Collect auctions is legit. Most of their unopened comes from the Larry Fritsch stash. >>
I noticed they said some was straight from the manufacture, I heard where Fritsch was the one who has had alot tucked away.
Thanks
Doug
Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I'll bet there's probably a reserve of between $8500-$9000 on that box.

<< <i>Bob ... if you are seriously looking at the 68/69 Hockey Vending box, believe it or not, it may be cheaper to buy directly from Fritsch. Here is the add from their most recent Catalog (Spring/Summer 2013 Vol. 1). Note that hockey box is just under $10,000.00.
Thanks for the info Doug
The hockey box is a little out of my price range but some of the other vending boxes look interesting. We'll see what the 75 baseball vending goes for on the auction compared to what you could buy it for direct from Fritch. I paid $800 to Mark Murphy back in the early ninety's for a 71 baseball vending box. It was fun going thru the cards. Still got the bug......

FRITSCH is selling it for $1,350.00 and someone paid $2,042.00 for it at the auction? NOT a smart buy??? Maybe there is a reason???

I guarantee you that if you call Fritsch today to order a box it won't be $1,350 anymore, LOL!

How much do you think that Fritsch will increase the price of the 75 topps baseball vending now? Based on past experiences.
Wonder where the one on eBay will end at tonight....it's around $400 right now with a few hours to go and I'm thinking that might be high considering vending is notoriously tough to pull 10's from.
<< <i>Eeesh $1100 for a 1976 vending box?!????

It ended up selling for $560 but I believe there was a BIN for $500.

Does that mean if you call Fritsch he'll go check eBay and lower the price to $560?
<< <i>I was not able to purchase any of the sealed stuff in this auction set. But some went for nice prices. >>
It's now been two Collect Auctions that the prices on unopened vending/wax/cello have evaded my bids.Last August I was able to score a few nice boxes.Has anyone called Fritch to see if they will sell the 75 Baseball Vending for $1350?
