Last Night's Bussineau Auction

Did anyone pick up anything noteworthy in last night's Bussineau auction? I grabbed a couple of the Horrors of War PSA 9's at what seemed like really reasonable prices, along with a few other odds and ends. Anyone else?

Can you post a few links to view your winnings?
I think it's a cool set as well, though the main reason I bought them was because they seemed so cheap.

I would get the first one reholdered if possible if you plan to keep them. I agree the second one looks better in the holder it is in.
Finding mint cards from a set like this from 1938 is just amazing.
I am not aware of the range on these cards as obviously pop reports can significantly alter the value but the prices do seem very reasonable for them.

These are both pop 1 with none higher. I just figured it's probably impossible to get burned on any pop 1 PSA 9 from a popular prewar set for $1300 or so, so I decided to grab 'em.
As an aside, check out the set registry for this set- someone has registered what I think is probably the funniest name for a set ever: 'The Frightful Cost of Set', which is play on the name of card #240.

Good score- There were some really nice looking '57s that hammered at what looked like quite reasonable prices.
Not to let the cat out of the bag, but Bussineau is one of the few auctions where I've had success in placing bids that don't get maxed out. Some very nice purchases, at that.
Thank you, Greg.
This is known as “bad luck.”
