1955 Parkhurst Wrestling Bronco Nagurski PSA 8 NM-MT sold for $1,000 even....

Bronco Nagurski

I have had this on my watch list for at least a year and it finally sold.

This is a very rare card and whomever the buyer was has to be proud to own this.

Rick bought it for $810 when it last sold and has had it up for quite sometime.

I only have one card from this set and it was a throw in from a recent purchase and I can attest at how tough it would be to find a card from this set in NM-MT condition. The card stock is very soft and the corners are easily damaged.

I think this is a very fair price for this card.

I think this is a good deal for this card as well. I do not see this card being graded higher than this PSA 8.

to me, it should be a HUGE card...

I have been watching this one as well. I think it is a very solid investment to resell in a couple years. There are not going to be many 8's that show up from this set, let alone Bronco.

    Excellent purchase!

I would hold onto that card for a while. $1,000 is going to be considered cheap one day for this one.

I love this card and my PSA 6 is nice, but whoa, a PSA 8 is incredible for a Parkhurst wrestling card. Great card!!!

Bronko was really big on the Winnipeg wrestling circuit in those days- hence the Parkhurst card. I have a cut auto of Bronko my father got at a match, probably around the time that card was made.

The card has went up on the online price guide to $915 which is higher than the previous listing which was $800 for the PSA 8 Nagurski.

Post a link when you can. I want to see what that card looks like. That is a strong number.

    Nagurski

This card is proving to be a strong wrestling card. Once again props to Knapp for pulling the trigger on the PSA 8. That card is a monster and I think in the right auction format would get some serious action from non wrestling card collectors.

Exactly. I don't care for wrestling, but I'm a football collector, so I'd love to own that card if I had the coin.

I'm blocked from this seller. I think this seller has a history of taking raw cards and altering the scans heavily and making them seem way better than they are in reality. I have no problem in not buying from someone who in my opinion is extremely suspect.

Buying graded cards from her would be ok
But she photoshops her raw card scans to remove flaws

I left negative feedback after getting some cards that were way worse than the scans......a lot of times I will just take the loss, but knowing of the intentional deception was a little too much for me.

    PSA 8.5

This card has been listed for quite some time on EBAY and finally sold for $375. That has to be a good sign for higher graded copies from this set and especially the PSA 8 Nagurski.
