Another one for your blocked bidder list.

Pauliekady. After winning my card (A PSA 4), he didn't decided he didn't like the corners and didn't want it for his collection. The card sold for $11 and VCP average is $20!!! I can see if the card was graded a PSA 7, but the card was a PSA 4 for crying out loud! Anyway, not a big fan of people who don't honor winning bids. He informed me he didn't want to get the card and have to return it (I dont accept returns on PSA graded cards anyway).....

Save yourself some headache and add PAULIEKADY to your blocked bidder list.

You must have been looking at just the negs/neutrals, because he has left a few dozen positives too.

He basically said, PSA got it wrong...the card should be a PSA 2, and I'm not paying for it (even though he actually double bid on the card - two bids stacked on top of one another). I blocked him, and I recommend others do the same.
  • one lesser known ebay fact is that if you open an unpaid item report, that buyer can't leave you negative feedback. it's a nice FU to a guy like that.

For only $10 though, he is libel to pay just to cause problems.....

Wow... card actually has decent corners for a "4".

If I sold on eBay, I would most definitely add him to my BBL ASAP, but since I don't sell on eBay, I will just sit here and think about what a toolbox he must be in real life.

The guy's a douche. Too bad he's not selling anything.

Sounds like you came out on top of this one. Lucky for you the guy didnt want to got through with the deal. I mean you sold it for 11.00 but VCP is 20.00!!
    You win bobby!!
You should thank him for not wanting to do the deal

I'm not about the money. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. I just want a hassle free transaction. I actually have about $15 in the card, so I didn't lost that much to begin with.

When you add the guy to the blocked bidder list use all lower case letters, otherwise it comes up invalid.

I heard he was one of the best sellers of all time. I am not so sure he sells too much on Ebay anymore. I really like that 1969 Clemente PSA '5' he has up though! image

Bobby I was just trying to point out a positive thing out of all of this. And I thought the money issue might cheer you up because you said "The card sold for $11 and VCP average is $20!!!" With 3 !!! after the VCP quote.
Thought you might do better trying to think of a few positive things instead of all the negatives and let them get to you so easily. Also you sold like 150 items and you had 1 guy saying he'd like to cancel his 11.00 trasaction which you were going to take a lose on. Doesnt seem to bad. But thanks for pointing out this ebayer.
Try and look at the good things more. It might make this actually fun.

just curious...why do people have multiple active Ebay accounts?

it usually stems from years past when Ebays had a separate buying and selling account. If you really want a more in depth answer than that, please pm me, and I will explain it in more detail.

For me personally, I have several Ebay accounts, because one was just me by myself, and the other was my girlfriend and my joint account. We would go to yard sales and auctions and put up our finds on the joint account. I went back and forth after Ebay went to the DSR scores, and I unfairly lost my discount on one account, so I would switch to the account getting the discount. Now I just don't care, since Ebay made it too hard to attain the discount anyway.

So they can by Curt Schilling cards from Kruk Cards at a steep discount?

I've been buying and selling on ebay since 1998 with the same account. I don't recall buyers and sellers ever being required to have separate accounts. Anyone else?

You are missing the point. Is isn't REQUIRED. I have been selling since 2000. Most of the old timers had an Ebay account for buying things and an Ebay account for selling things. It was feedback related.

I have culled this direct from Ebay's website....

There are many reasons why users would choose to have more than one eBay account. For example, users who like to buy and sell may want separate accounts for each activity. Other users who maintain businesses on eBay may prefer to manage separate accounts for different product lines.

Whether you have one account or more, eBay expects users to manage each of their accounts effectively in order to meet the highest buyer and seller standards. These standards and rules regarding performance, risk, and best practices are applicable for each account and help ensure a safe and positive experience on eBay.

I totally understand why you only have one account, and that works for you, so good. I think multiple accounts is more the norm than the exception though.

It would be bad business to buy Topps Nolan Ryan RCs and sell them as Milton Bradleys with the same Ebay ID.

It would be horrible to create multiple PSA ID's because someone is too scared to let someone know who they are whilst they spout false accusations.

Well, someone would CHOOSE to run up the cost of a card they were selling with this other ID. But, many "old timers" have multiple IDs, so it's ok.

However, someone may actually be required to have a new username on some forum because a member or two doesn't like a good old fashioned discussion on illegal activities when it may pertain to them.

    I see a minor difference.

What do you mean "had"? Nothing has changed. Lots of old ebayers and new ebayers have multiple accounts.

I believe that, in this instance, he would actually be slander to pay.
  • bobbyw8469bobbyw8469 Posts: 7,139 ✭✭✭
He ain't paying. He said PSA got it wrong. The card is NOT a PSA 4. He wants a PSA 7 in a PSA 4 holder.

Well just be happy this isnt the end of the world.
Hope you can get past this ebayer. And again thanks for bringing him to our attention. But I think you did very well with this being your only problem at this time.
Best of luck next time. But I hope you know nobody can be 100% perfect all the time. even if its 1 in 50, or 2% wrong out of 100 or not your way might be considered an ok day for most.
And again glad you showed us this trouble maker, Im just glad he doenst buy much on ebay.
