Ebay help!!

I sold an $15 i-Tunes gift card and the guy did not read instructions that I only ship to U.S.

How do I easily cancel this transaction with least amount of grief? I filed a cancel transaction thing and it said I had to wait 7 days.

I quickly want out and should have known better to list something like this on the bay.

Thanks,

aconte

  • Ask the buyer to request to cancel the transaction.

In the future, go into your settings and change to no international shipping. It will block anyone from outside the US from bidding on your items.

    Thanks for the fast reply.

I don't sell that often. Appreciate the help. Did not know I could do that.

  • You can set up your selling preferences so that only people from the United States can bid/buy.

It sounds like you didn't have that set up but if you had it in the description that you only ship to the US, you should be able to report the buyer as an "unwelcome bidder".

Go to your feedback profile and there will be a "Report a Buyer" link in the upper right side. Click that and then follow the instructions.

Thank you. Buyer agreed to cancel the transaction. My fault I guess by not having my preferences set correctly even though the auction stated U.S. only.

Lesson learned by this dummy! Appreciate all the help.
