Topps is doing Turkey Red for football as well. Goes live on Wednesday.

    I'll probably buy some...

    But when I first saw this, I thought, putting out a new football product before the draft... so no rookies...

    Then I follow your link... great, a 2012 football product... released in April of 2013.

    Ugh...

    The kicker is it'll probably sell out, but you have what, maybe 5 or 6 decent to great autographs possible? Out of 50-60. You get one auto per box. So unless you get one of the QBs, you're wasting your money.

    I feel bad for the guy that gets 9 crap rookies, a nobody mini and an Eagle autograph...

    I started refreshing at 9:59 and the site crashed. When it came back at 10:02 (ish) it said out of stock.. lame.

    I tried to buy as well and the site crashed. A freakin joke. I think I'm going to pass on principle. I don't want to contribute to the gougers.

    The site is very slow. It took a while to process my order. Topps needs to find another e-com vendor.

    Looks like it has been sold out...according to the website. I was able to snag 10 boxes before it went off the board.

    I wonder how many were held back for batch #2. It was mildly comical this morning -- didn't get my order in until I was ready to quit, then it went through.

    I got 4 boxes.

    Blowout is buying them at $35 a box and up to $150 if anyone is looking for a quick flip

    Not a bad buy price from them...which tells me they think they can get near 50/box.

    I think if you want to flip you should be able to get $50-60 on ebay. Someone had a presale up last night for $40.

    I took a chance and bought 25 boxes. I'm tempted to flip, I think these will be at $40-$50 on ebay. BO will probably have it at $49.99.

    They are about the size of a blaster box

    That was crazy trying to order from my phone.

    Got them loaded in cart then boom! I am out.

    I went to regular site and signed in then went to cart and it finally worked.


    Was this just a presell and they will sell later like the baseball or is it done now?

    I imagine they will make some more available a couple times like they did with baseball. Hopefully the print run is about the same as baseball was.

    500 sets and a more balanced amount of autos would be real nice.

    I look forward to ripping these.

    I did manage to get a complete baseball base set almost free after selling extras and also have 4 Harpers at PSA now.

    The $24.99 price was a steal. Other 2012 Topps football boxes with one rookie auto per box go for at least 3 times that. Some of them (Topps Supreme) are a blatant rip off compared to the Turkey Red boxes.

    Actually, the baseball boxes were a little bigger than a deck of playing cards. I'd imagine FB will be the same...

    I was hoping to make the base set but just like the baseball they are tough.

    After opening 12 packs (108 base cards) I was still short 39 cards--only 61 different cards.

    I opened 3 more boxes and found 14 more cards so I still need 25 to finish base set.

    All 15 autos and minis will be on ebay this evening.
