Mickey Mantle Bat Question

Please be kind, I am new member and this is my first post. I recently purchased this signed bat at a local auction. I know there are a lot of Mantle fakes out there but I figured before I spend a lot of money on "official" authentication I could ask some of you guys if you think it is even worth submitting. I have attached a pic below. If I got an amazing find great. If not, it would still like nice on my wall. I just curious what other collectors think.

Thanks
Pat

I don't know the answer to your question, but here
is a gamma corrected and enlarged copy of your
photo. It might make it easier for someone to see.

unfortunately, it's a crudely done forgery

Can you get your $ back?

  • I think you should get your money back and in the future, avoid buying any Mantle autos unless authenticated by one of the big companies. Easily one of the most forged autos in all of sports.
