Sounds like an great idea by their marketing team. I might have to go to all 4 games now lol.
I hope they move Castro to 3rd soon. I'm a big Ryno fan too. My favorite player as a kid.

Some of the promotions get out of hand sometimes. I was there for Ryan Theriot bobble head day. My dad and I each got one. People were offered cash for them left and right. We sold both of them for $40.

What I like about this set is the potetial of the 1982 style future stars card.

Lol that's the same exact thing I was thinking. I want the 82 trio card and just hope those guys pan out for the Cubbies. It's pathetic when you think about all the "can't miss" prospects that turned to busts right away.
The cubs have not produced a star from their farm system since Mark Grace!

Wood was one of my favorites & a real nice guy, but I think his career never lived up to star status unfortunately.
Believe me, I was one of those guys who thought he was gonna be a HOFer someday. Kid K was awesome but couldn't overcome injuries.

Oh wow didnt know they would get the whole set before the season start. I see some on ebay already, thanks for the heads up.

This is a well designed set and absolutely beautiful. Anybody with Chicago connections or Cub collectors pick any up? The sealed season ticket holder sets are going for ~$150 on eBay, mainly due to the interest in the Soler/Almora/Baez 1982 Rookie Design card.

It looks as if Jorge Soler and his on-field problems have become an issue for the Cubs organization. Sales have cooled considerably for the set, considering his prospect card is a highlight.

Not many graded by PSA of the set, in fact these were the first graded of the Greg Maddux cards. I wish more would sub, they are gorgeous cards and look even better slabbed.
