Which non auto 2001 pujols psa 10 to buy?
![Skyhawks1b](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/authoricons/blindfold.gif)
Ill probably never afford the bowman chrome auto refractor....aka 52' mantle of this era...
I can get a Pujols bowman #264 for $285...but ive also looked at the topps chrome & topps traded chrome psa 10's
My question is which one of these or are is there another one that i should invest in?
Question 2
What about ichiro non auto psa 10?
Which one?

That said, from an investment standpoint, I would take a look at overall population of the cards in question, see how many have been graded, and of that population what graded out at GM 10s. That should give you an idea of the scarcity of a particular cards 10 relative to its overall population. You can then compare to the other Pujols (or Ichiro) cards you are deciding on to see which is scarcer as a 10 (thus providing more value). The final consideration is which release is more popular amongst collectors? I can see from your post that the Bowman Chrome is the Holy Grail for Sir Albert. The next step is what is the next most demanded card?
Of course, demand for a particular run may change as well as overall feeling towards a particular player, although with either Pujols or Ichiro, they should be pretty safe bets. Then again, you could cover your bets by getting one of each
Hope that helps.

WTB: 2001 Leaf Rookies & Stars Longevity: Ryan Jensen #/25
Im noticing that there are several on ebay graded 10....but they all have a different card #. Please explain.
Im either getting Ichiro Topps Traded Chrome, The Bowman Draft, or the SP
Pujols - either Bowman or Topps chrome
<< <i>2001 SP Authentic and 2001 Bowman's Best were selected for the PSA Set Registry (Future Hall of Famer and Rookie of the Year). >>
I like both of these cards aesthetically.
For Ichiro, my two favorite are his Bowman Draft card and the Bowman's Best. The Bowman's Best has a print run of 2999.

<< <i>Another card to consider is the 2001 etopps card. Only 5000 were made, 165 graded but only 32 (19%) got a psa 10 >>
Hate to say it, but I'd second the Etopps for both Pujols and Ichiro. Prices are lower than anything else and supply is limited compared to the main lines.
Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12
Looking for Al Hrabosky and any OPC Dave Campbells (the ESPN guy)
So if i could find etopps psa 10's and theyre under 3-400 im in
Heres what i have left to add
1983-topps boggs,sandberg,gwyn
1984-fleer update clemens & puckett
2001- pujols & ichiro
eTopps got me back into the hobby in 2001/2002, after being out of card collecting for roughly a decade!
I own both a PSA 10 and a BGS 9.5 copy of the eTopps Pujols.
Unfortunately, Beckett does not consider eTopps a traditional product, and therefore neither they or PSA, consider the eTopps cards official Rookie Cards (RC)
For a non-auto Pujols... I'd go with the SP Authentic first, and if you won't want to spend that much... go with the Bowman.
Probably the toughest staple, name brand is the 2001 Donruss... condition sensitive just like the Bowman, but also serial numbered and much more scarce (it was also a redemption, so no telling how many were actually redeemed)
A couple other nice, some tough, but cool non-auto RCs: Bowman's Best, SP Game Used Edition, & Fleer Showcase
<< <i>Well as i posted in an earlier post ive started a collection of psa 10 hall of fame rookies from 1980-up

The eTopps Pujols in PSA 10 usually sells for around $200.
The trick is your preference... and older graded 10 or a newer 10.
The older graded 10's are in standard sized PSA slabs... but around the begining of the year in 2012... PSA only slabs 2000-2003 eTopps cards in the larger, pack slabs.
