If you get a minisizerq, are you charged for that or no?

I got one on a recent sub - my 15 free.

Shouldn't I get a free single submission for a similar turnaround time for that? Or no?

    No, you get a voucher.

I think it comes after the fact.

In a submission a few months back I got two that came back MIN SIZE REQ and the voucher came a few weeks later.

I had one in my most recent submission and it was not in the box either.

Also, save the card that got the MINSZRQ, and send it in again...you might be surprised at the results.

I had a Steve Young RC 1986 Topps that was gorgeous. I scrutinized every detail of the card and sent it in, assuming a 9 and a potential 10. This was a card pulled straight out of a wax box.

Well, I got the MINSZRQ.....a few months later I try again, same thing.....a few months later, same thing

So I'm now 0-3 and give up (by the way they only gave me a voucher for the 1st one...not all 3)

I guess I'm just a little perplexed as to how a card pulled straight out of a pack can get that MINSZRQ

You should get a voucher each time. How do they know it isn't 3 separate cards?

It's actually not that uncommon as cards were cut short at the factory all the time. The distinction with minsizereq is that it came from the factory that way as opposed to evidtrim for which no voucher is given.

I don't understand that. If Topps cut them short, it's still an authentic card no? There's no tampering. It was the way the sheets were cut at the factory, sowhy not grade it?

Beacause a card must meet the official size measurement to be holdered and as a collector you should be thankful that is the case despite the occasional frustration. Such a scenario is also yet another example why factory cut cards are at an extreme disadvantage to sheet cut cards which are obviously "cut to size." Trust me, you don't want PSA to start holdering shorties.

I gotcha, but if I take the card and put it in a pile and they all feel the same so it's perplexing
