1986 Dairy Pak vs 1988

If anyone knows the answer I am curious

Dairy Pak listings

When you look at each card it shows the players years in the league
ex: Elway 4
Fouts 14
Montana 8

I am wondering how this is a 1986 issue -- it seems like 1988 would be more accurate.

1986 looks right to me. Once they played in one game in the 1986 season, Elway would be at 4 years, Fouts at 14, and Montana at 8.

Montana's first year was 1979 (not 1981 like you might think due to his 1981 rookie card).
