Post grading. Unfortunately this is a chronic problem with wax packs in which the gum is still loose in the pack.

I bought a 1976 PSA 9 pack with nicks in the wrapper. The ebay seller did not disclose this. I felt compelled to open the pack as it was no longer a 9. I did get three cards that I'm sending in for grading so all was not lost.
It seems there is still some issue with graded wax with the new holders as I have seen some high grades with slight tears or holes. My guess is it is not as bad as it used to be with the old pack holders though.

A 9: No
The highest a pack should receive with any tears is a 7.

Has anyone sold high graded packs that incurred damage afterwards? If so, was this reflected in the sales price?
