1980-81 Topps Basketball...why - why not would PSA grade seperated cards?

Just cruising through the POP Report and see that nothing is listed as seperated singles from the 3 card panels. Yet almost every other year or issue that is meant to be seperated with perferations or cut lines can be found as panels or singles. 1981 Topps Scratch Offs, 1951 Berk Ross etc.

There are obviously holders for these so that can't be the reason.

Just wondering if anyone has tried to send singles in or have called about them.

I think a Bird or Magic single as a 2nd "Rookie" would be cool to have.

Would there be a market for these? I think that there would be, especially with player collectors etc.

Thoughts....

Considering the only Bird, Johnson RC I have was actually seperated(before I obtained it, 25 years ago). That would be a something to do with them.

I know 1969 four in one singles get graded individually too.

Good question. Why not call and inquire.

I guess nobody likes those cards separated; I gotta tell ya though collectors back then trying to do a complete set of all the unseparated cards encountered quite a mess with the numbering system!

Speaking as someone who perforated his panel (doh!) as a kid...........i would like to see each card be individually graded also. Whats the point of numbering each card if not to be perforated???????
