Years ago, I hosted a website for members of RCC (the newsgroup rec.collecting.coins) to showcase their coins. I just found all the pics of these coins on a CD and remember this one as one of my favorites.

Very intersting coin. Anyone know what the oval thing is 2 people are holding on the reverse? Is it a shield? Looks like three giant claws.

So hard to find a decent-looking T coin that's actually from that time period and not stamped "Austria" or "Hungary" ... I've been looking for one I can afford for a few years. Any longer and I'll have to increase my budget.
