ALMOST a devastating snipe!!!

So, last night I saw a lot of cards that looked interesting. I decided I would put in a lowball bid of $68.22. Well, apparently I did not hit the decimal, so my max bid was $6,822. I definitely was the winner of the lot at $158. And that actually wasn't an unreasonable price for the cards I won. But, still... it was a far cry from $68.22. Thank God nobody else screwed up with a high snipe here, or I would be out a small fortune. Anyone else ever oversniped by accident?

Very glad you did not get screwed and that you actually got them at a reasonable price.

No I do not snipe so I really do not have to worry about that. I am afraid that something like that would actually happen to me.

    Hope you enjoy your purchase.

Some people who do not snipe also seem to make that same mistake when winning some auctions....at least they say they did. image

I have never had it happen on my snipes but did mess up a couple of times when I used to straight bid, both under and over. Just carelessness on my part

It'd have been funny if that was a card needed for the Lone Star Collection. You'd probably have lost. image
