Certified Half Dimes 1832, 1833, 1834, 1836 nicely toned examples

For your consideration:
1832 Half Dime PCGS MS64 LM-13 variety nicely toned
When I bought this half dime, it was a POP=1. Looks like it still is a POP=1, with 1 graded higher. Nearly Gem. Well struck. Pleasing surfaces. Extremely nice toning covers both sides of the coin. There were 965, 000 coins minted for this date. This is (was) the only coin of this type LM-13 certified by PCGS. An LM-12 just sold for $1,410 (it was CAC’d). A toned LM-3 went for $1,380 about a year and a half ago. An untoned LM-3 went for about $1,100 last July. A little more difficult to assign a value to these, but it I think with the way this one looks $1,300 (including Express delivery) is fair.

1833 Half Dime PCGS MS64 CAC nicely toned
I purchased this from a well-known coin dealer, who described this coin as “a sharply detailed representative of this extremely short-lived series - it boasts highly original looking toning and frosty surfaces, which are free of any distracting flaws on either side.” A similar example (PCGS MS 64 CAC), although not nearly as appealing, sold for $ 1292.50 in January 2013 at Heritage. $1300 includes Express delivery.

1834 Half Dime NGC MS63 nicely toned
The holder is scuffed up, but fortunately, the coin inside more than makes up for that. It exhibits an attractive mixt of pale green, pink and purple on the obverse. And the reverse is multicolored, as well as more intense than the obverse. A delightful little coin. Recent PCGS examples are selling in the $750 range. Priced at $700 including Express shipping.

1836 Half Dime PCGS MS63 - Inverted 3 - rim toning
This coin was originally in an NGC holder with the Inverted 3 designation, and then I crossed it to PCGS. The Half Dime is the LM-3 variety, which is the 3 over Inverted 3. The coin has nice clashes on both sides and a long die crack on the obverse. Both sides have nice, original toning around the rims. Not too many auction prices on these, but some not so recent ones were over $800. Asking $800, including Express shipping.
