The All American Game of Base Ball - 1924 - Becklin Mfg. Co., Seattle WA
This is one cool game - never seen it before - it's incomplete - but I wouldn't expect many to come up on ebay.
I don't have instructions - but the patent number on the wheel gave me info and in the "description" - I was able to determine the intention of the inventor.
Notice there's 3 wood "plugs" in the wheel - all the holes should have one - the game most likely came with a marble or wooden ball which is thrust towards the wheel which is "spun" by the pitcher.
Based on the patent - if the ball misses a plug - it's a strike - and if it knocks out a plug - obviously it depends on which one.
Patent Number 1,511,926
As you can see - an important missing part is the "playing field" - kind of disappointing; tho easy enough to construct something if one wanted to play the game.
And the wheel:
I used Liquid Gold to clean and restore the wood - thought it did a good job.
And the full game sans the playing field:
This type of game is cool since it has a little bit of "action" versus the typical dice or spinner mechanisms.
Anyone up for a game? I'll supply the game - you bring the Yoo Hoo.

I also wanted to post a pic by the seller - thought it would be cool to show how nice "Liquid Gold" works to clean up an old 'wood' item.

Beautiful job on cleaning it up, it looks GREAT!!! You are indeed the Game Freak or Game Master.
It may be a fun side project to try and replicate the "playing field", just to have an example with the game.
As always, thanks for sharing.

<< <i>Wow, Mike another incredible game. I love this one alot because as you stated there is some action involved in the game and that always makes it more exciting than just spinning or rolling dice.

Thanx Ralph.
Hiya Donato
Thanx.
I was thinking of that and have a template.
This is a "travel" game made by the Drueke Company - Ludington, MI. It's relatively new tho the company's been making the game - Baseball Vol. 123 since the 30s when the company was located in Grand Rapids.
I would prefer to make it from the same style plywood as the original game. Or I could wait about a 1000 years and hope someone has the board without the game!
