Can anyone confirm whether or not this Dan Marino autograph is real? (on Beckett Football #1)

How much is a Beckett Football Monthly #1 w/ Dan Marino (back cover) autograph?

Is this Dan Marino autograph real?

I was going through my football Becketts (I own all of them from #1-#100 that I bought from someone a few years back) and I couldn't help but notice that the the back cover of Beckett Football #1 (Bo Jackson is on the front cover, Dan Marino is on the back) has what appears to be Dan Marino's autograph in the top corner where his 1984 Topps RC is pictured. Now, I honestly have no clue if the autograph is real or not. If I can get a hold of a scanner, I can scan it and let you guys see it and hopefully confirm whether it is his John Hanc-ck or not. But if it is real, how much could it possibly get?



EDIT: I finally was able to get a close up pic of the autograph. I sure hope it's real...

    I doubt it. Without the autograph, the magazine is worth $10. The location of the autograph (on the back of a magazine) isn't ideal. If you look on ebay, Marino autographs on the *front* cover of magazines have sold from $8 to $35.

    It does, but I don't think you're looking at $50 to $100. I think more like $25 to $40.
