Shakespeare's is considered by most people, to be the most valuable autograph ever, but it is not the earliest.
Henry VIII pre-dates Shakespeare by roughly 70 years, and there are several of his signatures that have been authenticated. I'm sure there are signatures of other British (and French) Kings prior to Henry VIII, that have been authenticated.
