    Sweet!

Since I have been on these boards I have seen tons of posts with Jeter auto's turned down.

    Nice going!

Out of curiosity, what price range do y'all think one of these should sell for if the card was circa a 5 or 6 condition, autographed and authenticated?

    << <i>$800-1000 easily IMHO. >>

Maybe the condition isn't as strong as my memory recalls (not real sure, card is in storage box, and scan looks rough cause of the shiny nature of the card) here's an actual scan that I have saved. What do you think this one should sell for?

    Thanks for your help.

    Addictedtoebay,

Congrats on your poppage. Thats a great card to have and always satisfying to have one of the tough ones get certified.

    Congrats!

  • Agree with Dpeck, I have also noticed many coming back rejected. Very nice indeed.

  • I live in Phoenix and many years ago I would split the season pass to the AZ Fall League with a good friend of mine. We would buy tons of minor league cards and Bowman cards of all the players we could find on the team list. One year that included Jeter, Johnny Damon, Jason Kendal, etc.... Well I got all my bowman and Minor league cards signed by Jeter while my best friend bought up all the SP cards he could find (at the time they were cheaper than the Bowmans). He has at least 25 of them signed. I kid you not. We used to attach 10 cards to a piece of notebook paper with photo corners and have them sign 10 at a time. I told him that the Jeter SP RCs went up in value a ton a few years back. He told me they were all in storage with all his other cards waiting for his kids to become interested in collecting. I kept about 5 of my signed Jeters and gave the rest away to my friends who were big Yankee Fans. I think I posted pics of them in another thread a few months back.
