Paying customers to take cards...

OUCH!

Card sold for 6 cents with free shipping. Ooops. This seller has "sold" a lot of items in the past few weeks (all with free shipping) that have ended up going for less than the price of a stamp.

Back in the day people would "pay" a penny for a PDF of whatever. Bacically it's buying feedback

I remember those days, but you don't need to pay postage on a PDF.

Considering that Paypal fees include an automatic 30 cent transaction fee, and a forever stamp is 46 cents, anything less than .76/dlvd is costing the seller, and that doesn't take FVF into account.

Buying feedback won't really work because we can now see how much the buyer paid for said item. If a seller has tons of sales for items less than $1 then it shows he isn't a serious seller. Whereas 10 years ago, that trick might've worked......... Unless all his sales are private sales.
I'm building a 1968 and a 1970 Topps set. I have lots of 1970s and 1960s to offer in trade.

And no one mentions that the buyer STILL overpaid... image
  • I think he is banking on people buying multiple lots. I would say he rarely looses money on shipping.
