Ideas for storage of PSA Tall Boys???

I've done some searching, but haven't quite found what I want. I have a 28 card Tall Boy set from the 1970s and want them housed in the same box/container/etc. The PSA plastic boxes only hold 9 Tall Boys each and the BBCE's wooden boxes look like they don't hold Tall Boys in the rows.

Ideas???

Thanks for the link ... How do the boxes compare to the old Roop Boxes?

  • I never had the Roop boxes directly from them but looking at pics they look the same. I have gotten the tall boy ones from a box factory and they are great. In the past I bought the Roop style boxes from another source(Archival Methods) but they no longer carry them. If I need more I will be getting them from a box factory. I have a feeling they are coming from the same company as they look the same.

I remember that coming up here in the past but I wasn't sure if it was them. I'm sure the ones I was getting from Archival Methods were coming from them as well. I really like them and that is the only thing I use for storage these days.

Do this boxes stay closed or are they apt to fall open if held incorrectly? Do you use rubberband or anything to wrap them? Thanks >>

Well the tall boy ones are a two piece design so the top part slides onto the bottom. When I move mine I put my hand on the bottom part. I never grabbed it just by the top as it might slide off. Never thought it was an issue.
