Well, at least the catalogue description hasn't formally been written yet.

And, why does the crew in the "panhandle" put a "P" for the denom, pence..............I guess they failed at those pesky mathematical questions on making change using the £sd currency system..........OK, my annual RANT is over. image

Because the cataloguers haven't started to write the descriptions and several lots don't even have images and/or grades. It's a small mistake (by someone unfamiliar with world coins) that will be very quickly corrected and I do not think that it will affect the bidders of the set. Bidding starts in 3 weeks, and the auction is in 5 weeks. There's really too much British material in this auction, and it's still all over the place.

Dimitri- I agree with what you wrote except there are still no excuses

They really need people doing this that will not make such an error if the public is going to have access to the on- line catalog prematurely.

No excuses- They need to do it right or just not do it. It is there business.

If this sounds harsh- so be it

Yea, a little OT but it's like the US sellers of Canadian silver dollars calling them 'Crowns'.

    C'mon sellers!

Get informed and educated about the product you're selling, else you look like a bunch of schleppers.

Ironic to be reading your posts about improper terminology, etc. and then see the word "schleppers" used in such a manner ... where I come from "schlepping" means "to carry" or "haul" ... I'm referring to the Yiddish word, of course!
