Never heard of it, but here is a little something I found from a seller of one of the cards:

    You are bidding on a:
1969 NFL Vending Gumball CARROLL DALE . A very tough card to find.
A very tough card to find. The backs are blank. The card stock is thinner than regular cards. The card came out of gumball machines in plastic containers, just like the mini football helmets. I remember getting either little cards or helmets out of the machines at the bowling alley. The card is about 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". This is a nice looking card, shows some white/tiny dings on the corners (from bouncing around in the capsule and gumball machine). I am listing some of the extra cards that I have
    STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Looking at the teams he has it is the NFC Central. Bears, Vikings, Lions. I did not see any Packers though. This goes right in line with Drenks Potato chips pins and earlier LAKE TO LAKE Packers. Lots of regional stuff in the midwest during the 1960's.
