Panini and Lampo variation question

Does anyone know how the Valida version of 60s-70s panini cards were distributed and what the purpose of them was? I have heard that they were received through the mail through some sort of redemption. Same question about the text back Lampo cards.

I've heard similar eagles, probably from the same source(s). Apparently they were a mail-in, in that you would mail them in to get something else, which may have made the Ali less rare than other Valida stickers as people would have kept it. valida = valid in Italian, so that makes a bit of sense..

I answered this in the other thread but I'll give it a go here too.

Validas were issued randomly in packs. I know this because I've seen an unopened pack with a Valida card on the back. The Validas were part of a contest and were meant to be mailed back to Panini for prizes.

    No idea about the Lampos.
