Even a wrestling card expert can learn something every day

I had this Pons card for a long time and did not know there was a variation to it. A full body pose and one that is not. PSA did not label this card correctly, by stating it was a 1921 issue instead of 1908 and of course calling this a boxing card when it clearly is a wrestler. Besides the point, it is cool to learn of a wrestling card variation for a card that is 105 years old!

    Very cool Rob.

Always nice to find something that's eluded your awareness.

I had the same thing happen with my sheet music quest. Never noticed there were two different portraits!

Cool variation. Good catch. However, I was under the impression that the 2nd series of Felix Potin was issued in 1921. First series in 1920, Third (and rarest) in 1922. Where did you get 1908 from? Just curious. Thanks. Alan

Edited to add: even as i typed it, i thought, "wait, that's not right. 2nd series WAS 1908, lol." Was just going to delete the post, but since it's such a cool variation that now has me checking every potin I own (haha), i figured I'd just leave it alone. Nice find! Alan
