On Ebay, can a buyer win a "not recieved" case when the DC shows the item was delivered?

Just hypothetical for now, but I was wondering.

If it's over $250 and no signature confirmation, yes.

Usually, the seller will win if the item is showed as delivered and total is less than $250, but it is possible for the buyer to win every now and then. Here's an example: Link

I have had things delivered to me across town. Buyer would have never recieved item..if I had not contacted them.

but UPS says it was delivered.

another situation with UPS. Had bought something and it was very important to a customer asap.
A call to UPS (and thats not easy to do) to find about the item and they had it as delivered at 4:10 pm. I said impossible i was standaing at the door for it and it wasn't ever there.
I asked they go back and ask driver. Yes she scanned ita and entered it in system as delivered...but still had it.///was running late

    Nothing is black/white with delivery

In this case with 2 "honest" parties involved...I bet ebay will refund buyer and eat the costs.

  • 3 times this year, we've won a dispute due to tracking, but the buyer can still leave a negative feedback....

u have to be prepared for buyer backlash if they lose the dispute...
