Gold question for you experts - Help

Currently overseas and found a jeweler selling Saudi Guinea 8g gold coins marked 22k and a 5g Credit Suisse bar with a Rose on the back. He's an authorized seller on a us military installation and only asking spot for them. Anyone have any experience with the Saudi coins or ever see a 5g bar with a rose on the back?

Thanks in advance.

The Saudi Guinea is a well known trade coin. It contains 0.2354 oz of Gold. It is 22K. Like the Sovereign.

I have seen bars with the rose but I don't recall if the maker was Credit Suisse or Pamp.

I've heard that there were fake sovereigns or guineas floating around the mideast that were struck from gold but at a lower purity.
