That is ludicrous for a horrific listing. Forget the stickers which hid the actual labels, there wasn't even an accurate listing of the cards offered.

The only bid that looks potentially suspicious is the bid of $1,225 by the bidder with 17 feedback.

This looks like a bidding war to me.

The final bidder was double stacked so even though the price seems high they were willing to go higher.
