Thats cause those dont appear to be leather.

Yeah I have seen many an auto that have virtually vanished. They just used cheap materials I'm guessing. Glad I never had any of those in my collection. It's a real shame.

I bought a ball signed by Joe Morgan on the day he entered the HOF. Auto almost completely faded away.

That stinks Nick.
I pulled one of these years ago - A Jeter. But, I gave it to that kid who was sick and a Jeter fan - many moons ago.
Always wondered what happened to that kid?
