Remember the 01 Fleer Tradition Stitches in Time Negro League insert set last year? Well, I liked the concept, but didn't too much care for the design. So, created a new set.

Now, only if I can find a Josh Gibson auto somewhere

For these I use photoshop. Been using it for years, so I've gotten pretty good with it.

I am not a racist (I would like to say this befre I make my coment) and I havemany black friends. I am just making a comment. For Buck Leonard...it dosn't really look like he learned cursive that well. I am not trying to be offensive.

c0llector... you have to remember the time and era it was in and how schools were. It was also segregated back then. There were no big classes, computers, internet, etc. Also, Buck Leonard's signature got worse after he had a stroke.

hehe, not all are mine. I do have a bunch of their autos, but getting these cuts from Ebay

unless I have a signed photo. Wouldn't look right from a signed baseball

Going to make about 15-20. I'll just put them on a page like my Final Cuts and strink them down. Going to submit the idea to Fleer. I'll let you know whenever I get tired and stop. The hardest part is to come up with the initial design. After that, the rest is cut and paste.

Not really... I get paid for doing graphics on the side. I just have some free time and like to do a few things creative. I wish card companies allowed collectors to send in their autographed index cards and make trading cards out of them.

talking about cursive "back in the day"...look at anthony thomas's signatures on his current rookie cards...looks a little scary.
i work with plenty of people that i guess just never got the hang of cursive writing(i still can't make a cursive Z)

just an observation.

Yeah, I got tons of Monte Irvins. Can't decide what to use for his. I have 2 of his Bowman RCs, 3 of his Topps Red Back RCs, about 5-10 of his autos, so that's easy. Going to add Hank Aaron and hopefully "Rube" Foster (founder of the Negro Leagues).
