How do you ship your cards for submission?

I was wondering how people package cards to PSA. Do you put the card in pennysleeve and then in a CardSaver or do some people just put the card directly in the CardSaver? Seems like PennySleeve is just an added step that could add damage to the card (corners or edges during insertion and removal into the penny sleeve). When I have done it in the past it also makes it harder to put the card in the CardSaver with a penny sleeve (more added stress to the card may not hurt but certainly can't help). What are some veteran submitters opinions on pennysleeves for submission: necessary or optional? recommended or not recommended? Thanks.

I've also used penny sleeves in hard sleeves which seems to offer the most protection and easy to put in and get out.
PSA does not recommend them though - not sure why not.

Works every time.
Then put your sleeved cards into Card Saver 1s.
Finally, I use non-static bubble bags from Uline. A stack of about 20-25 cards fits perfectly into one pouch. Roll it up and seal it up and you can be sure your cards are safe. PSA has told me in person they wish more people would use those. You can find them here.
The card wedge into the card saver and the slice the seam move on the penny sleeves are AWESOME!!!
Have nicked a few bottom edges within razor sharp penny sleeves
Phenomenal suggestions
<< <i>Use a penny sleeve every time!! Take an exacto knife and cut an inch long slit in either side of the sleeve so that you can slip the card in with zero chance of damage.
