Price of empty Topps wax boces?

Could someone give me an estimate of empty Topps wax boxes from 1960 and 1965? Let's say G/VG condition. I have a chance to buy them but have to make a decision in a few minutes. Thanks so much!

Thanks, BBG. He wants a little more. The 65 does have mantle on it...

I think Paul is roughly in the ballpark, but there are always some rarer boxes
that are going to be much higher. For example, any 1971 Topps wax
boxes are usually several hundred bucks. A 1970 empty cello box is
    usually well over $100.

There are some bargains to be had too. NESC has had an empty 1962
cello box listed on eBay for ages. It's now at $34 plus $6 shipping.

I've been accumulating empty boxes when I can and they are definitely
a very affordable and neat collectible. A bit tricky to display nicely, but
if you get creative it can add to the fun

I'm always amazed at how affordable sports empty wax boxes from the early 1970's are. I guess it makes sense because the baseball card hobby was pretty well established by the early '70's, and boxes were already being saved. By comparison, the wacky packages boxes I collect are MUCH tougher to find, especially in high grade. Much more expensive too.

I just bought a 68 box in that condition for 38+ shipping. I think the estimates above are pretty accurate.
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.

That's a cool looking box--love the graphics which really capture pop culture from the era. The box reminds me of a '71 Topps box. What year is it?

Tim ... according to this, they were issued around November/December 1974.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Thanks for the link, Doug. I don't collect non-sports cards, but these wacky packs have sparked my interest...oh no, LOL!

Thanks Paul and everyone for all of your help. I am out of town in a flea market and my phone is crappy so it's hard to research on it. I passed as they were $50 and $75. They also had an unopened pack of '51 Topps for $35. However, upon further inspection, it was not unopened.
