Crazy snipe bids with a "thank you God" for losing

I recently put in a crazy snipe bid for a 1976 #373 Johnny Briggs PSA 9 for 1,300.00. It is an extremely low pop (7ish) and one of the last few 9s I need to get my 1976 to 9 and above. I just recently won the Brett 9 so I was a bit loopy. I figured it would sell for 500-700 but didn't want to play around. Well, I lost! I had to give a little prayer of thanks that I did. I would like to apologize to the winner who might be the only individual loopier than me. I wonder if anyone else has a similar story. BTW, another Briggs came up for auction (of course) a month or two later and I believe sold for under 600.00. I had intended to snipe at 900.00 but forgot..sigh, here goes another several years of waiting. If that #302 Miller PSA 9 ever comes up again though...

Or you could have this one for $882.50 without waiting several years. Personally I'd wait, but it seems within your parameters.

Anyone that says there aren't any good deals left on ebay simply isn't doing the work to find them.
Luckily I wasn't bidding against a crazy bidder!
