  • Sorry I didn't word that correctly. Here was the link I was using ... http://www.baldwin.co.uk/coins-of-india

It was a catologue that broke down the history of the coins by monarch, denomination, rarity etc. .

It was posted here a few months back but I can't find the original posting.

I am familiar with the old link, but it's no longer there.

Did you click on the one I posted? ... baldwin.co.uk/coins/india.html

152 India coins photo'd and TOC'd by period and metal. Each has a description. Very informative and I think would help anyone looking for info on coins of India.

  • Baldwin's -Coins of India website has been taken down by Baldwin's on request of the main contributor Dr.Paul Stevens. He has published two books 1.Coins of Bengal Presidency. 2. The Uniform Coinage of India 1835-1947 recently. So I guess it did not make sense for them to share the same info for free.
  • many thanks ... just purchased the book from Baldwins
