If money was no object...

....and you HAD to rip whatever you bought, what would you buy in BBCE's current inventory?

I think I'd enjoy ripping that 72 Topps baseball box. Of course, my daughters could probably use that loot for college more than dad could use the cardboard.

  • Right now I like that 84 Topps Football box. But I would probably like that case of 1993 SP Foil Boxes. That box of 1991 Desert Shield is really cool, but I dont think its worth the cost.

At first I typed the 84 Topps football case, until I realized the price seemed odd and it's a set case. You can never go wrong with 84 Topps FB.

Hands down the 1972 Baseball box. 1984 Football is a nice choice but I already opened four cases back in 1985. So, the 1972 Baseball box would be it. I would do a slow rip to extend the pleasure.......looking at the first card and slowly move it to the side to see the next card.........yeah baby Nolan Ryan! Would anyone care to buy the box for me as a present?

There's really nothing to think about as it has to be the 1972 Box. They're pretty dry otherwise. 1984 Football is always fun, but we've all been there done that. It sure seems like there was an awfully large amount of 1984 football produced as it's so easy to find even 30 years later...I think there is less 1985 and 1986 then there is 1984

  • I never opened an 84, 85 or 86 box of FB. So it would be a treat for me.

(come to think of it, 87 either, but I have a cello box waiting in the wings).

72 topps box for sure, but I would also love to rip that psa 8 1968 series 5 pack as well, but the excitement would end too quickly.
I cannot hit curveball. Straightball I hit it very much. Curveball, bats are afraid.
