    Here's to Tim for keeping things in perspective and not playing tonight...so many players forget that basketball is not their entire life. Let's hope and pray he can find some solace tonight.

    well that's being human. I'm glad he didn't play, but I hope his team will go out and destroy the sonics for there mvp tonight.

    I can't tell you how it warms my heart that all you Kobe fans are sending your best wishes. Something like this happening does bring the whole basketball family together. I appreciate it so much. I just got the word of a death in my family a couple of hours ago, so this has been an extremely hard day.....

    haha, you might be the Kobe "Guru", but your not the Kobe GOD. You can have tons of cards, memorabilia, posters, etc. etc., but if your not a Kobe fan at the heart, then your no where near my status. image

    man I have too much heart for the guy. Alot of people talk bad on kobe, but you know what~ It doesn't faze me one bit~ you have your bad years and good years ~~fans should know that. I know kobe won't win every year the rest of his career, but i'll still be here cheering the guy on no matter what unless I die or something

    u can have the kobe god title, but his #1fan is right here haha


    do you notice how guys come and go like iverson first, vc, now it's mcgrady hot on the market.

    i still stick to my nizzle kobe no matter if mcgrady got 300% hot on fire and scored 190 points in 1 game. He is nowhere near as exciting as watching kobe play.NO WHERE

    I agree and I am the same way you are. I have been a Kobe fan since 96 when he first started playing. I was a Kobe fan when he threw up two airballs in the playoffs...I was a Kobe fan when he was labeled as another greedy kid coming out of highschool to the NBA. I was a Kobe fan when my friends were dogging him out telling me that he won't be anything and that all this hype will dwindle away like it did for J.R. Rider, and many others. I told EVERYONE that Kobe Bryant would be a star one day and everyone laughed at me and thought I was crazy. But, if you can't see talented and stardom staring you right in the face, then you obvious have no idea what it's all about. I'm not those Kobe bandwagon fans you see and hear about it. I have been there since the beginning and I will always be there to back Kobe up no matter if he scores 1 points per game for the rest of his career (which would be the end of the world), or if he were to play off the bench, it wouldn't matter to me either...because I'm a Kobe fan...a TRUE Kobe fan. If Kobe was at the bottom of the list in card bv's, then I would still be his fan. If Kobe has NO titles and played for the worst team in the league...I would STILL be a Kobe fan. I'll always be a Kobe fan, and that's the BOTTOM LINE! image

    For all who have asked, they just said that Tim's dad passed away from a lengthy illness.
    We don't play til tomorrow night. Going to be really hard to play without Tim, David and probably Danny Ferry, but we will try our best.
